Robostrike now has a new home page based on HTML. This has been done to please search engines that seem not to like our previous pure flash page. The game itself is not changed, but a bunch of new features for online players as well as a facilitated access to some previously existing features.

Due to a major failure, we had to replace robostrike game server. The game was back online within 5 days, not bad considering the hard drive was crashed.
We appologize for any inconvenience. With this new machine, the game should hopefully now run smoothly.

Robostrike now has a new forum dedicated to online gaming powered by ASP.Net. This forum comes with all the nice features such as topics, avatars, smileys, etc...

To celebrate this new year, we introduce a new score computation algorithm.
From now on, scores are reset to 0 at the begining of each month and the total of the score gained during the previous month is used to compute a level expressed by stars. The level corresponds to the average of the three past months score reached by the player and is also used to rank players.
As you might have already noticed, the score formula has also been changed.

Ramses, Rote Baron and Xrbot have overdone the machina PAR with 43 actions, which is one less than the previous 44 PAR. That is very very impressive !!! It sets a new record to break.

Robostrike is now available in 5 new languages Thanks a lot to the translator for this great team work: PYRA for german, ROTE BARON + DRAGOO for spanish, XRBOT for portugese, LELEFT for italian, SITKA for nederland.

It is now possible to play RS with Mozilla / Firefox. If you already used it, all you have to do is reload the home page of robostrike in your favorite browser.

It is now possible to see the state of all the robots, including those which are in a stack, by placing the pointer over them.
Action sequences priority has also been changed: it's the remaining time on the count-down that is used rather than the previous receive order. This has been chosen so that rapid connexion don't get advantage over slower ones.
Finally, when robots are on stack and cross a laser beam, all get similar damages.

SVM (the leading french computer magazine) publishes in its june 2004 issue a very nice article about robostrike (page 44), the the "permanent web guide" topic. It reads: "Robostrike is a marvel of free flash game...". They ranked it 5 stars on 5 !!!

It is now possible to create non-scored games. This feature has been implemented to allow for tournament games where the result of the game matters, not the individual gain.
Also, players with a score greater than 100 don't get any points in wining over guest players.

A flash forum is now available for robostrikers to express themselves !

To create a link to robostrike from your web page, use the left menu titled "LINK" and copy/past this code in your page source.
Using this banner, you automatically get a 10 points bonus for each (real) new robostrike player that registers from your web site.

Guest players can't get points
Stacked robots can't get extrakits or microprocessors. Their weapons are disabled while they are on stack.
