Hi all !

I didn't spend much time on RS during the last months, but my competitive exams haunted me for a long time.
But there I am, for a little time.

I didn't read all the forum posts since my last overview, but I saw Chris mentionned a score reset recently. So here is my proposal.

While you would reset the score (btw, the score system is totally perfect to my mind), you should add some funny stats, and why not some funny achievements for each player.
For instance, number of kills, number of "microprocesseur" aquired, number of lives lost, etc...
And maybe achievements such as "First player pushed out of the map", "5 kills in a row", which is very attractive for new players.

I do not know if this is possible for you Chris, but what I know, is that games with such stats are really attractive. I am an early iOS/Android dev, and I realised that people play much more on games with achievements and game stats than games without them.

I would be really excited if all this is possible to be done, and you can bet on me to help you for this.
If anyone has any suggestion about that, please, share with all of us :D


PS : Et ce système de stats et de succès, tu pourrais l'introduire à l'occasion d'une remise à zéro des scores :-)

That's a very nice suggestion, Pilou. Did you sneak into our secret plans? ;)
In fact, we are planning something similar for quite a long time already and Chris is working on a basic initial version. So please stay tuned :ninja:

You can suggest whatever you want. ;) But since Chris' plans are already very far developped, I'd rather  wait for the release or at least for his relpy here ^^

As Dharo said, we already listed a bunch of possible achievements and trophees and stats. :ninja:
A few of them have been planned to be seen in a first release, but all new suggestions are interesting of course.

Maybe we could start by and focus here on the most core/efficient ones imho which are cumulative, positive and quite difficult to get for something more than points to collect ex: won a 2 players' death match, then won a 3 player's death match, killed X bots in one turn, etc ...

On the other side "one shot" trophees (=non cumulative) or easter eggs trophees could be added to the list but in a second time.

These are quite random, but still :

A stat for number of bots killed (overall)
A stat for number of chips got (overall)
A stat for number of suicides commited (THIS is funny) (overall)
% of victories (why did you delete it btw ?)
% of death match victories
% of runs victories

Use ALL of the bonus in one life / in one turn

Kill X bots with lasers/bombs/blasts/etc...
Push X people in a hole at once
Freeze X people with one bomb

"Good use" : Kill 4 people with 1 X-Cross
"Not yet" : use a Life bonus while you were going to die


I hope all of these would inspire other players ;)

here is one I was thinking about adding you get a achevment if you lose 50 ( or 100) matches in a row

btw a idea i also had for this is that also every time time you unlock a new achecment you gain points based on how hard the acheivment is. however to prevent exploting they would vnever probably go over 20 exp each.

I don't think adding points for achievements is a good idea. It's not the purpose.

how about a rare acheivment if oyu can kill seven people in one turn.
